This event was designed to raise money and awareness for spay/neuter initiatives around the US? Why? Because over 1.2 million dogs are euthanized every year - over half of them pit-bull type dogs. What's more, is just 1 unaltered female and her offspring can generate over 60,000 DOGS IN SIX YEARS! 
 
One way to stop this vicious cycle is to subsidize low cost/no cost spay and neuter across the nation. All proceeds from this line go to help these efforts.
